Margot begins with raw emotion, and allows the piece to develop as it needs to. There are no boundaries, and there is no deadline. Working in corporate design, Margot feels constantly restricted by corporate identity standards; corporate colors, corporate fonts, corporate layouts... “There are days that I feel like I'm painstakingly coloring in the corporate coloring book. My personal art is my outlet, and what keeps me sane - I can go nuts, get my hands dirty, explode onto a canvas, and scribble wildly outside the lines! It is through this emotional expression that I am able to maintain a balance in my life.”
